Day #5793 – (Sat., Nov. 15, 2025) – Huband Winter Market

Katie has a full day planned for today (check out yesterday’s blog post), but today… breakfast first! She had pancakes and some “Tator Tots” (see photo to the right). She loved them so I’m going to see if I can pick them up at Costco the next time I go.

Huband Elementary had a winter market this morning. My wife took Bobby. Cassie, our hairdresser, had some of her paintings on display. Bobby bought one with a dragon. He also purchased a large egg with a dragon inside.

The market even had a petting zoo, but Bobby didn’t feel like waiting in line. He also refused to sit on Santa’s lap… He’s a big boy now and well beyond the age for that stuff…

Bobby showed off his project on indigenous soldiers (see photo to the left) at the market as well!

The trip to Toronto is officially booked. My wife and Katie will be going and Bobby and I will stay home and will take care of the animals.

The AirB&B they booked is next door to the Eaton Shopping Center in downtown Toronto. It is also next to a musical theatre and will be seeing the show “&Juliet” written by David West Read, the writer of Schitt’s creek. Forbes is calling it the best musical of the year.

They also plan to see “The Sound of Music” and go to Niagara Falls on a bus tour one day.
