I took Bobby out for Daddy/Son Chat #26 this afternoon. First up was Poke Page so he could get some “Boba Milk Tea With Pearls” (see photo to the right). We then went to Wendy’s where he picked up a cheeseburger kids meal and a large chocolate frosty. Multiply this by two as we took both Poke Page & Wendy’s items back home to his sister.
On the drive over Bobby mentioned that he is not interested in going around town to see all the Christmas decorations on the houses. Our kids are grown up now and this is a tradition that has gone bye bye… They might resurrect it with their own kids if/when they have them one day.
I mentioned to Bobby that it was one year ago that we gave him the Facebook VR headset for Christmas. It was quite an expensive little item, around $500, and he mentioned that we were fortunate not to get the Apple version like his desk mate Bowen has. I guess it costs thousands!
While picking up the food we saw the new Tim Horton’s that is going up. They are starting to put the chairs in the restaurant and I told Bobby that this is a sign it will be open in a number of days now. The time for a restaurant like this to go up is waiting for the permits. Once the have all the paperwork in order owners are eager to get the restaurant up and running so they can start to make money!
We let the chickens out this afternoon. There is post next to the coop that the chickens enjoy sitting on (see photo to the left).
We have “blinking” Christmas lights on the fence in front of our property now!
The movie “Wicked 2” is out at the Landmark Theater and the place was packed!!!
Katie worked quite a bit of time today working on the birthday scrapbook she will be giving to Soulina.
