I picked up Bobby at 2:30 pm at Huband this afternoon. Katie is home today from Vanier as she is taking a “Flex Day”.
Bobby told me that his two best friends at school are Esca and Zephyr. I remember seeing Zephyr’s desk when I was at the parent/teacher meeting a few weeks ago. It’s at the exact opposite end of the classroom from Bobby. In fact Bobby remarked that he is the closest to the teacher and Zephyr is the farthest away from her/him. Bobby told me that he likes Zephyr because he is nice and funny. I said I like me! Bobby said yes! I went on to tell him that I think Esca will always remember him and have a special bond with him because Bobby took him under his wing and showed him around when he first arrived at school from Germany.
As far as the Advent Calendars are concerned the kids got to open up both yesterday and today! Today they got “Ferrero Rocher” chocolates. Bobby also got a little toy finger skateboard (see photo to the right).
The kids had their group viola/violin lesson this evening. I went to the post office to pick up a package for my wife. She bought some new nesting boxes for the chickens. It’s hopeful that we will have eggs in a few months once the days start to get longer.
Eclipse flew up to roost by herself this evening! She was on the floor at 6 pm!
The kids have a concert recital in Merville this Saturday.
