Both kids are home sick today (again).
The photo to the left shows a good pic of Maple and Bobby. Hopefully Maple is kissing and not tasting…
Here’s another review that came in for Katie. This time from her science teacher:
“Science: Katie demonstrated a mature and responsible behaviour in my class who brought a high level of positivity as well. She is a highly motivated and self-directed student who was always helping those around her. Her performance reflects a high level of standards, and this was self-evident in the work that she did in Science 10. It was truly a pleasure to have Katie in my class and to be her teacher this past semester. I do wish her all the best in the second half of the school year as well.”

I went for a Costco run this evening. I saw a whole package of cake pops there that I thought Katie would like (see photo to the right). Probably this whole pack is less than the cost of one cake pop at Starbucks. I’m not sure how they can get away with the prices they are charging. McDonalds and the other fast food joints are offering “McValue” (or similar) meals as times are tough, but from what I can tell, Starbucks just keeps “charging” (pardon the pun) forward…
The full Costco shopping list for today:
- Cake pops (for Katie)
- Blueberry muffins (for Bobby)
- Meat pies (Aussie style)
- Chicken Taco kit
- Bananas
- Milk
Bobby was singing the song “Daisy, Daisy” this evening so beautifully that my wife thought he was watching YouTube.
