Katie is starting her “Spring Break” one day early, as of today, by going to Campbell River to see an ENT (“Ear Nose Throat”) doctor about her ear. Appointment is a 8:15 am and she won’t feel like going to school after that, so “Spring Break” for Katie starts today! Bobby rode his bike to Huband today… His “Spring Break” will start on Monday. Katie hung around the house with Batman for most of the day when she got back (see photo to the right).
Katie saw an ad for a documentary about AI that will be coming out in theaters soon. I will keep my eyes open for it at Landmark.
My wife dropped the van off at DN Auto at noon today. They drove her home and I drove her to pick it up after 4 pm. Katie came along for the ride and we went for a 3.5 hour drive afterward…our longest drive yet. We stopped off at the near Tim Hortons near Landmark and I got a black coffee and she picked up an ice cap.
As you know, Bobby took his bike to Huband this morning, but he wanted Esca and Isaac to come over for a play date this afternoon, so I drove over to Huband to pick them up. We had a “race” with Bobby on the way home. Isaac & Esca told me that since today was the last day of class before “Spring Break” they watched the Minecraft movie in class!
Katie wrote her math teacher:
Hi Mr. Mtawali, I wasn’t able to make it to school today because I had a last minute out of town doctor ‘s appointment. I’d bring it to school next week, but I realize it’s spring break and waiting to hand it in 2 weeks later is probably a bad idea. Could I send a scanned version by email?
