Day #684 (Fri., Nov 18, 2011) – Ramona’s Last Day
Katie slept all through the night…good news for daddy. Once she woke up and ran around a bit she said “Banana please”.
The photo to the left shows some of the books that Katie liked at Target. Potential Christmas gifts for our chipmunk? I think so…
Today is Ramona’s last day. It looks like my wife will be graduating with her PhD in BioStatistics, so having her help during the day with Katie was definitely a help and a blessing.
Katie is fascinated with eyebrows. She will point to them on daddy and say “my eyebrows”. She got the eyebrows part right, but still hasn’t figured out what is hers…
Katie is starting to “warm up” to the recordable “Night Before Christmas” book that I bought her. Every so often I will hear it go off and my voice saying the words go echoing through the halls…
Now that my wife has effectively completed her thesis we are talking about ways to celebrate and our plans to get our lives back on a “normal” schedule. Since next week is Thanksgiving we are going to need to prepare for that, as well as get a Christmas tree, and “relax”…
