My wife made Bobby one of those chocolate waffles I picked up at Aldi last night. He loved it! Katie tells me that she loves chocolate, but not chocolate-flavored things.
Bobby tells us that they named the new fish in his class “Cookie”. The teacher will be handing out assignments to the kids to take care of Cookie, but Bobby has not received one yet.
I’m not feeling well today, I think I might have what the rest of the family had the past few days. As a result, my wife picked up Bobby at 1 pm this afternoon and drove to Katie’s school where I was waiting. We all then signed into the office and went to the theater to see Katie’s performance (see photo to the right). Bobby wanted to sit at the back, but then we as a family went to the front. Bobby and I ended up in the very first row while my wife sat three rows behind us.
I showed Bobby how to make his own nachos this afternoon. Some tortilla chips, some shredded cheese on top, and 30 seconds in the microwave. He put his own little twist on his own creation with some sprinkles on top, and then microwave.
My wife went to a meeting at Glenwood this evening so that the parents could meet the teachers. Not one on one, but more of a meet & greet. Bobby’s teacher said that one of her goals for this year was to have her students love to read. Bobby seems to have taken it to heart as he opted to go to bed early this evening to read (as opposed to practicing the violin mind you).
