Day #4819 (Fri., Mar. 17, 2023) – “Quiet” St. Pat’s Day
It’s St. Patrick’s Day today, but you would never know it around our house. Usually we get a “heads up” from the schools for the kids to wear green, but not today. Wonder what’s up with that…
I picked Katie up from Phillips this afternoon. I was a bit later than I wanted to be as the workmen were working on MLK. Why can’t they work at night considering how many people they disrupt during the day on Estes and MLK.
I took Katie to “Dunkin Donuts” today for Daddy/Daughter Day #130. We talked a bit about her upcoming novels and YouTube channel. I looked online and there are no Dunkin Donuts in Victoria. Maybe they couldn’t compete with Timmy’s? I picked up a chocolate sprinkled donut (see photo to the left) for Bobby on the way out the door.
When I picked up Bobby at Spence’s Farm this evening he was playing with Luca. He told me that Luca does not play by the rules of the various games they play. On the drive home I told Bobby that he was on the soccer team with Ethan, so he was happy about that. He was also happy about the fact that he got to share goalie duties with other kids as it seems everyone wants to be a goalie…
