Day #4962 (Mon., Aug. 7, 2023) – Ethan Comes To Play
Batman loves to sleep on Katie’s bed. She’s ready for another nap in the photo to the left.
Ethan came over to play today. They played with the Nintendo Switch, a Rubik’s cube, and even showered each other with the hose while swinging on the swing. I asked Ethan if he wanted some of the rice/beans/corn combo that I make for Bobby and he told he that he hates corn.
My wife took Katie and Bobby to horseback riding this afternoon. Bobby got to ride on Rainy and Katie got Aria. Bobby has decided that he doesn’t want to do horseback riding every week now… It’s just too boring for him he says. He told us to wait for him to request his next horseback riding lesson. Monday’s will be Bobby’s time to do homework now as he will be busy with Spence’s Farm, violin lessons, and martial arts after school on the other afternoons.
Thunderstorms and rain came early this afternoon so my wife helped Bobby put the chickens back into their coop. They know to come back from roaming around once the sun goes down as predators like foxes and wolves could get them.
This evening my wife, Katie, and I watched the German painter who taught Bob Ross his technique.
