Day #5193 (Mon., Mar. 25, 2024) – Moving Company
Bobby is home sick today. He has a temperature, and had a nap this afternoon. Katie went to school.

My wife and I stopped off at the lawyer’s office this morning, the same lady that helped us to close on our current house. We showed her the forms that our potential buyer filled out and she said that they were an older form and for a new house, not an established house. She gave us new forms to forward to him. He was agreeable…he wants our house… 🙂 So, this is in the works and it looks like he has already been preapproved for the mortgage.
This afternoon we had Facetime with a moving company from Vancouver that is going to “hopefully” move our goods to Courtenay. The gentleman, originally from Portugal, wanted to see every thing that we would be taking, and gave us an estimate of poundage. I had to leave early to pick up Katie at school.
It looks like we will be going to with RBC insurance for our new home. They wrote our mortgage, so this seems to be easier. It’s interesting to note that they don’t cover houses in this area for “earthquakes”.
