Day #5497 – (Thu., Jan. 23, 2025) – Mary Brown’s Chicken!
We have a new item from Amazon! A combination ski bag/dog bed (see photo to the right)!
Both kids went to school today. I picked up Bobby at 2:30 pm and drove him home, which has been the normal process as of late. He told me that Rahim, one of his classmates, was bothering him and another classmate stepped in to help Bobby out. This other classmate then wanted $100 for his help. I was trying to figure out if this was a problem with bullies at school but Bobby said that they were friends and that Rahim had a tough life. I’m not sure what the deal is, but my wife and I are going to see his teachers next week so we’ll discuss it.
I also picked up Katie after school today and I had the “hankering” for Mary Brown’s Chicken, so we ended up there… Daddy/Daughter Day #153! We took the Myers-Briggs Personality Test again, and discovered that we are both: INFJ-T “The Advocate”! My wife is ISTJ-A “The Logistician”. I wonder what Bobby is?
Oh, regarding the Mary Brown’s Chicken, it was tasty, but certainly not cheap! We got the family 9 piece with 5 additional chicken wings and two Pepsi and it came to $54.03! I see that they charged us $2.50 (not including tax) for the Pepsi alone!!! Oh well, at least we got to take some back to the family. I told Katie that moving forward, if she likes it, we need to find a good “copycat” recipe on YouTube.
