My wife and Katie went out to White Spot Restaurant this morning to pick up our Thanksgiving dinner for takeout. Bobby and Katie each got a hamburger (see photo to the right). My wife and I got the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with the turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing. Interestingly enough, these two kids, who opted for burgers over turkey, ended up eating some turkey as well. It was Bobby who said that he didn’t like turkey!
Oh, and don’t forget the pumpkin pie. To say that it was on the “smallish” side is being generous.
I had an interesting dream last night so we talked about it at the dinner table. In this dream I won $60 million in the lottery. It was so real, that I woke up immediately, as you would if you had a scary nightmare, and remembered it completely. So, we as a family talked about it. We decided that although we don’t know if it means anything, we would feel horrible if we didn’t at least take a chance. So, I drove out later this afternoon and purchased a Lotto Max ticket for tomorrow, Tuesday. The jackpot is $85 million, which is a bit of surcharge over the $60 million indicated in the dream. A tip I suppose… 🙂
