In the “wee hours” this morning I voted the straight democratic ticket via the NC election online system for the upcoming primary on November 4, 2026! I just want that to be on the record somewhere for people to see where my sentiments lie!
I dropped Bobby off at the crosswalk at Huband at 8:30 am this morning, then circled back home, picked Katie up at 8:50 am, and drove her to Vanier.
I went to bed for a nap so my wife picked up Bobby early from school today as per his request. She then swung by Vanier to get Katie after Model UN club at 4:30 pm and drove her to the Foundry, so I had the afternoon off things played out.
Bobby’s new crutches came! You can see him and Maple in the crutches in the photo to the right. Can you make out which is which?
A bunch of leg braces came from Amazon as well, but none of them were suitable for Bobby.
Incidentally, at the Foundry this evening but they had so many kids to see that they didn’t get past the waiting room. So many young kids with problems of various sorts here in the Comox Valley I guess.
Remember the “interview” that Katie had this past Sunday? Well, as it turns out, of all the young people they called, ONLY Katie filled out all the paperwork. She’s going places this girl, and unfortunately, given who she is in competition with, the bar is quite low…
