Bobby didn’t go to school today but I took Katie to Vanier at 8:50 am. My wife order crutches for him, and they will arrive Friday. We thought he could use my leg brace, but it’s too big for him so we will order him a more size appropriate version via Amazon. The pain got to him this afternoon so he went to bed and had a nap.
My wife and I received online voting information from North Carolina. We are able to vote online, but they want a photo ID. I think it will be better to use our passport photos as we don’t want to have any reason for them to throw our vote out.
Terry Fox Day at Vanier was yesterday at Vanier. Today Katie went with her class on a Terry Fox run/walk. She was excited to walk with her friends Cora and KJ, but unfortunately Madeline soon joined in. Katie said that it was kinda long.
Katie is looking forward to “Planet Zoo 2”, which will be released soon. She’s concerned that her laptop won’t have enough power to run it, but we will work something out. I just got a roughly $900 CDN dividend check for my Woolworths stock that I purchased over 30 years ago in Australia, so I’m sure we can work something out. I’m thinking we will go to Costco and get the $2000 gaming PC for Bobby, and give Bobby’s to Katie. If Bobby’s can’t run Planet Zoo 2 then we will get a more powerful computer for Katie as well.
