I was going to drive Bobby to Huband this morning but he reinjured his leg yesterday so it’s another day of “home” for him. I took Katie to school late this morning for her 10:30 class, so this is the first time this year that she has not been to every class. Certainly an improvement over last year, and especially the year before.

If you will recall, I asked a ChatGPT “work” agent to “Go Wild” and research and develop a website that students coming to Vanier would love and get them excited to join Model UN. The photo to the right shows what it developed. It includes a game! It’s on the staging area now, and Katie may or may not decide to implement some of these ideas. At any rate, it’s nice to have some ideas to think about.
I took Katie to her orthodontics appointment this afternoon. It was supposed to be a quick 30 minute appointment, but they didn’t come and get her until later. Not only that, they gave her a “permanent retainer”, something that nobody expected. She was very frustrated with the mouth feel and there was some talk about removing it, but as of tonight she’s getting used to it. I think in a few days she will not even notice it…such is the wonder of the human mind and body and it’s ability to adapt.
It looks like we booked Amy for Halloween Day so Katie is thinking of changing it even though its at noon and the “Trick or Treating” will be that evening. As Katie says, “Halloween is a whole day situation”.
