My wife took Bobby to the hospital this morning for a “Mono Test”, so I drove Katie to school. On the way we talked about the “Easter Egg Hunt” that Bobby wants for this Sunday. He said that he wants it difficult, so I think that I will let Katie take the lead this year and design around it. I will be the facilitator and drive her around and pick up supplies and such and perhaps help her with ideas and the map, but it will be “Her Show” so to speak!
The photo to the right shows Katie’s science project. They are learning genetics and this egg inherited different traits. Katie’s doesn’t have a dad, she used a surrogate. The teacher agreed that there are no guys to choose from in class. They have to keep this egg safe for 10 days and bring it to class.
Today is the last day of classes as tomorrow is Good Friday! Katie texted that she wanted to come home early this afternoon so her mom went to pick her up.
The test results came back this afternoon. They did the usual blood count and everything is normal. No “Mono”. So the question is, what? Another virus perhaps?
The kids had their viola/violin lessons later today. Daisy is not feeling well but she still had lessons since she could sit down.
