I will leave the exact name of Kristina’s son off this blog to provide some anonymity…

I picked up the kids at viola/violin practice in Royston at 1 pm this afternoon and we were off. Bobby was hungry so we stopped at the Subway down the road where Katie and Bobby each got a 12″ sub (see photo to the right).
We stopped off at a Tim Horton’s near Duncan for a bathroom break. Katie picked up a chocolate dipped donut and Bobby had a chocolate milk.
We arrived safe and sound at Kristina’s apartment and the kids played on the playground outside her apartment complex while we waited for her son. He showed us how the keys and garage worked and we were off for a brief tour of the city.
Kristina’s son suggested Vietnamese food but since it was suspect the kids would like anything on the menu, we arrived at the Beacon Drive In. Bobby and Katie each had a burger and fries. Kristina’s son had a burger and some poutine.
Next up was to drive Kristina’s son back home in Sidney. He gave us a tour of the place he is staying.
When we got home to Victoria it was time to get ready for bed. A change of plans in that Katie will be sleeping in Kristina’s room, Bobby in her son’s room, and I will still be sleeping on the sofa.
Katie received feedback for her psychology assignment. The teacher, Mrs. C, said:
Katie’s 100% grade for the second psychology assignment: An excellent job here, Katie, reflecting on these complex ideas.
