Katie is investigating which Vanier clubs she wants to join. She still wants to join “Model UN”, and so does Annika. Madeline is going to think about it, but might not.
Another club popped up today! The Vanier Interact Club is a service-oriented club at G.P. Vanier Secondary School! It is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Courtenay and it’s goals are: engage in community service, leadership development, and global understanding. The club organizes projects that benefit Vanier and community, such as donating to local charities like YANA.
Bobby mentioned that Jackson, the boy who pushed him the other day, apologized to him and asked to be friends. So, things seem to be working out in this regard.
Bobby plans to hang out with his classmate Esca tomorrow. Esca’s mother said “We’d be happy to have him over again.. he played so great with Remy too it was lovely”. Remy is Esca’s younger brother.
I was looking on Amazon for ideas for this years “Christmas Advent Calendar”. I think we should avoid trying to give them candy this year as although it tends to fill up the slots, it is a “fallback”… We’ll still do our own, in the two “Advent Calendar” boxes I made, but sometimes just taking another advent calendar currently on the market and putting their offerings into our slots can add variety as they tend to be unique each day. Just thinking at this stage, but maybe one or two of these “potentials” below could be used as a “base”? We can always add an extra thing or two to various days to make some days extra special…
