I dropped Bobby off at Huband this morning and then double backed to the house to pick up my wife and Katie. I then drove them to the Comox Airport as they are heading off to Toronto today!
I picked up Bobby at Huband at 2:30 pm this afternoon, his last day of classes for the Christmas break. We went home and he let the chickens out to run while I cleaned up the coop.

Next up was a trip to McDonalds for Daddy/Son Chat #27. I brought juice packs along to save some money, and he got a cheeseburger, fries, and ice cream cone courtesy of the coupons from the Advent Calendar. We swung by Goose Spit so he could get a great view from the surrounding mountain (see photo to the left), then down to see Goose Spit much closer. The seas were very calm today…almost no wave action.

This evening I went to Costco to pick up some blueberry muffins and turkey slices, two things that Bobby requested. I was hoping to pick up some egg salad but they said that they didn’t have any.
Over in Toronto Katie and my wife got in late, then promptly went to a 24-hour restaurant near their Air B&B (see photo to the right).
Bobby has been doing most of the chores involving Maple, Batman, and the chickens, which is great! All I need to do is clean the chicken coop and give Batman his medicine.
