Day #823 (Thu., Apr. 5, 2012) – Our Chatty Child
My mother-in-law sent a package of housewarming gifts for our new home. You can see the collection of outdoor bird thermometers in the photo to the left.
After work I stopped off at the house to drop off a box of supplies and clean some of the adhesive off the hardwood floors (where they met the carpet in the kitchen). Quite the job but both entrances from the kitchen were clean of adhesive by the time I called it a night.
Just before I left for home I called my wife up to tell her I was on my way. Katie was very chatty on the phone…she is getting more talkative all the time.
It was about 9pm by the time I got home and Katie was still up. She greeted me at the window. As I was relaxing in the LazyBoy in the living room Katie was watching cartoons down in our bedroom. She was chatting up a storm…she chats all the time now…
