Day #858 (Thu., May 10, 2012) – Popcorn Box Storage
My wife asked me to look for some small boxes for Katie the next time I’m in the Dollar Store. She wants them to keep her small items that I buy for her…popsicle sticks, elastic bands, plush balls, etc. I was at the Dollar Store at lunchtime today and although I could not find any little wooden boxes I did fins some little plastic popcorn boxes. They will work nicely to store all her little “nick nacks”.
This evening my wife and I were watching the news when we heard Katie scream. We thought she was in the kitchen playing but she had wandered downstairs into the basement. Once we recovered her I promptly put up the gate on the top of the stairway (see photo to the left). We don’t want her to go wander off on us again. Just after I put in the last screw Katie ran up to me and asked me what I was doing. Just in time…
This evening I also put up the middle hook for the curtain rod in Katie’s room. Now it will no longer bend in the middle.
