Day #961 (Tue., Aug. 21, 2012) – Dr. Katie
Tired Katie slept til 10am today so she was unable to go to her gym class. Ramona took her to the park instead.
The toy doctor kit from Amazon came in the mail today (see photo to the right). Helen, her friend down the street, has a doctor’s kit so we had to get one for Katie as well. Maybe she will be a doctor one day.
This evening I made a tower out of Duplo blocks and showed put a cow on top. I showed Katie how the cow could fall off the top of the tower and she got quite a kick out of that. In the end, as this sort of activity usually ends, Katie knocked the tower over and laughed…
People keep saying how Katie should be modelling. I must admit, she does take a good picture. With that curly blonde hair I can’t stop thinking of Shirley Temple. I just asked Katie if she was adorable and she said “uh uh”… That’s okay Katie…you don’t have to be adorable if you don’t want to.
