Day #1136 (Tue., Feb. 12, 2013) – Wearing Daddy’s Socks
Bath time for Katie this evening as she has school tomorrow. Remember those bathtub wall clings that stick on the wall? Well, Katie wanted to give the girl’s hair a shampoo so we had to use some of my wife’s. She washed it off with water from the little blue teacup.
The photo to the right shows some of the consignment clothes for dolls that my wife picked up this past weekend.
Katie got into daddy’s sock drawer this evening and tried them on. They were effectively black stockings on her tiny legs. She got a kick out of the fact that they were slippery when she walked on them.
As Katie was watching television this evening I asked her if she wanted something to eat. She said yes, “chocolate”. I replied “I bet you do…anything else you want”? Sure she said. “Cheese…and chocolate”. One track mind. I brought her some cheese and a slice of turkey, some berries and juice. No chocolate. If she had chocolate all bets are off as to when she will go to bed this evening.
