Day #1378 (Sat., Oct. 12, 2013) – Party At Izzy’s
Katie slept from 8 pm last night to 6 am this morning. that’s 10 hours at one stretch…the longest stretch in a while. Of course she is sick, so that might be part of the reason, but we’ll take it none-the-less. When I got up I took over from my wife so that she could go back to bed. I made Katie some turkey bacon and warm milk. She ate it, which was good…but it didn’t seem to help her to go back to bed (my ultimate goal).
Katie can sure make a mess when she wants to (see photo to the left).
There was a party at Izzy’s parent’s place this evening. I’m still feeling a bit under-the-weather, so I dropped my wife and Katie off at their door and went home to rest. As they were getting out of the car Izzy’s dog came up to greet Katie. Katie was in heaven.
I got a call from my wife just before 7pm. She wanted me to pick her up in about 5 minutes. I drove down and it took a while to get Katie into the car. She was having such a good time that she didn’t want to leave. She was actually hiding in Izzy’s room from my wife.
