Day #1379 (Sun., Oct. 13, 2013) – He-Man Cartoons

I heard the pitter-patter of tiny feet outside the master bedroom door this morning. Katie was hovering outside. She gets out of her bedroom these days as my wife took the doorknob lock off her door. I let my wife sleep in and took Katie out to the living room to watch television and have some breakfast. I put “He-Man” on the television while I made bacon.

Later in the morning Katie and I made Halloween Jack-O-Lantern decorations. Katie put them up on the window. Even later in the morning Katie was at the dining room table pretending to read her books.

2013-10-13 - Katie's ClothesOur neighbor Genevieve came by this afternoon to get some baby clothes. They are going to be having a baby in the spring. My wife took Katie by later in the day to see Gabby as Genevieve was babysitting her. The photo to the left shows the assortment of baby clothes that my wife was organizing.

Later up this afternoon I was telling scary stories to Katie in her bed with the aid of a flashlight. At one point I raised my voice and she jumped. When I was done I asked her if the story scared her. She said no, but was scared when I raised my voice. She is just so precise…

WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
