Day #1392 (Sat., Oct. 26, 2013) – Halloween Decorations
My wife and I took Katie to the Dollar Store this afternoon to pick out Halloween decorations for the party. Once you tell her that we are planning to decorate and will need her help she’s all in. She insisted on taking the butterfly she colored (see photo to the right).
We already had a number of Halloween decorations from our previous visits, but we did need some Halloween cups (of which there were none). Oh well, we did get a haunted house box for Katie’s animals. Oh, and she wanted a helium balloon as well.
We then went to Chick-Fil-A near SouthPoint Mall for a couple of cobb salads. While my wife and I ate Katie enjoyed running around in their play area. Not eating (as usual), she eventually did have a fruit cup and an ice cream cone.
This evening we took Katie to Southern Village to see the Halloween decorations as this will be the last weekend to do so. We eventually worked our way back to Spirit. They have already sold a number of racks of costumes and I suspect a lot more will be gone by Friday. On the Sunday after Halloween they are having a 50% off sale so we are thinking of stocking up on decorations for next year.
