Day #1482 (Fri., Jan. 24, 2014) – Elery Comes To Play
Katie’s structures are getting more and more elaborate as you can tell in the photo to the left.
We invited Elery and her parents to come over for dinner tonight. Katie has been wild with anticipation all day. When I got home from work she took me to see the dining room table where two chairs had been placed beside each other. One was for Katie and the other was for her best friend Elery. When the guests arrived Katie could not contain her excitement. At one point Elery came up to me and asked me why Katie was was loud this evening. I told her that she is just so excited to see her. Katie then went up to her and gave her a big hug. They sure do enjoy playing with each other.
When it was time to go home Katie was too tired to put up much of a fuss. She did complain a bit that she wanted Elery to spend the night, but in the end she was too tired to complain too much. We gave her some milk and put her to bed. A nice time was had by one and all…
