Last day of work before the weekend. Time off has a whole new meaning when you have a child.
I was playing with little Katie this evening and took out the little piano we bought. I showed her how you hit the various keys and a melody would play. Didn’t she realize that this is what caused the music to come? She started to hit the keys and produce the music herself. All at a mere 4 months of age? We might have a budding musical genius on hour hands…
The photo to the right shows an attachment to little Katie’s mat when it is time for “tummy time”. It is basically a plastic pouch that will hold water. Little plastic fishes will float around and entertain little Katie while she engages in her tummy time.
I was tired after a hard days work and was thinking of taking a nap. My wife just came out of the nursery and said “don’t go to bed yet…little Katie is real fussy”. Will we be driving around the neighborhood this evening to calm down a fussy baby? Time will tell…
Great! Little Katie finally fell asleep without a drive around the neighborhood. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to take her out to calm her down.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
