Day #1679 (Sat., Aug. 9, 2014) – Ocean Ray
I was beat after last nights escapades. Katie woke me up with a picture of a ray swimming in the ocean (see photo to the right). It’s raining outside this weekend so it looks like we are going to be doing a lot of arts and crafts.
I went to Trader Joe’s for supplies. We needed apples and bananas and my wife had a hankering for spaghetti and meatballs. I got hamburger meat and mushrooms so I could make some homemade ones. I added an onion and various spices. They turned out rather good.
This afternoon, while my wife took a nap, I fixed the cat tree. One of the resting areas near the top of the tree fell off so I put a couple of 90 degree brackets on it to secure it. It’s safely secured now, but it seems that the cats have gotten used to the other two resting areas. I put some catnip on the new area to try and allure them to it.
