Day #1710 (Tue., Sep. 9, 2014) – Yes You Two In Todd…
To our two friends in Todd who faithfully read our blog…your suspicions have been answered. We’re going to have a boy! EDT March 15th… 🙂
The photo to the left shows the little Hot Wheels car that I picked up at WalGreens yesterday. I remember my father and I driving out to Westville, Nova Scotia to pick up a brand new yellow Datsun Sport Truck when the used red one he had owned broke down. I remember him specifically hating the white “flower design” decal that said “Sport Truck” on the side. Too “Hippyish” for him. Years later I learned that it could have easily peeled off if we had tried.
When my father died the ownership of the little yellow Datsun Sport Truck passed on to me. Although I no longer own this truck it’s kind of symbolic in a way that I can pass on a REALLY little Datsun truck on to my son. I’ll keep this little car in my hutch until the time comes for him to appreciate it.
This evening I made tacos. Katie didn’t really want any but she did munch on some carrots with hummus. We’ve been dropping hints that she will be having a baby brother soon but she has not picked up on those hints yet.
