Day #133 (Sun., May 16, 2010) – Stick Out Your Tongue

10:00am and I’m out the door with little Katie in the stroller. It’s already hot outside. I was dripped wet in sweat when I returned home.

Lots to do this morning/afternoon. Company is coming and we have food to prepare and “getting the place in order” to do. Table is set (see photo to the left). Of course little Katie is in the Jumperoo wondering what all the fuss is about…why are they not paying attention to me?

I was playing with little Katie this afternoon and put my head close to hers. I started to stick my tongue out and she tried to grab it… 🙂

5:15pm – Daddy just finished the shish kebabs. They are cooking in the rotisserie. My wife is finishing up with the rice. All that is left is for the company to arrive.

8:00pm – The company just left. We had a great time and little Katie loved watching their little boy run around and play with the toys. As they were leaving I took her to the nursery to change her and she screamed and cried with tears rolling down her cheeks. I’m not sure if this was because she was over-tired or missed the company already.

As little Katie was crying I put her bib on my neck and said “Blah Blah Blah”. For some reason she found that quite amusing and laughed and laughed. I’ll have to remember this trick for the future.

WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

————————————
1) Little Katie likes it when I put on her bib and say “Blah Blah Blah”.
