The photo to the right shows the new shoes that my wife picked up for Katie yesterday.
As I was taking Katie to preschool this morning I happened to talk to Jack. He told me that Eleri is signed up for the Mandarin Chinese Program at Glenwood next year. The admission process closes tomorrow and we will know who got accepted by next Friday. Won’t be long now…
Robin has been running around with no collar. All of a sudden he came home with a collar. Neither my wife or I or Katie put the collar on him. Perhaps one of the neighbors? My wife changed it to his normal red collar and put an extra bell on it.
At lunch time today I drove out to Cary to get my wife’s wedding rings cleaned.
Nikki’s mother’s cancer came back. She will be starting chemo next week. This is why the family came out to see Nikki…family time together. Nikki will be leaving on Wednesday to fly home to Oklahoma and will be returning to the Raleigh area at the end of June. She might fly in for the weekend to see Katie’s dance recital, but we’re not telling Katie in case she does not make it.
I picked up Moe’s on the way home this evening. No beans in my wife’s burrito so that little Bobby doesn’t suffer from gas. I asked for a cup of queso and the guy said it was in the bottom of the chip bag. He even charged me for it. When I got home it was nowhere to be seen. Looks like I need to go back and give some more “customer service” tips to yet another restaurant. Moe’s has sure gone down in quality recently…
This evening I tried out a few more songs on little Bobby. “Rollin On The River” and “Angie” by the Stones. He likes them. He’s becoming much more lively and friendly with lots of social smiles.
