Day #2061 (Wed., Aug. 26, 2015) – First Full Day Of Kindergarten
I was up at 6:30am this morning as we had to leave at 7:00am to take Katie to her first full day at Glenwood School. LeeAnn, Katie’s new Chinese babysitter, arrived to take care of little Bobby.
Both my wife and I took separate cars. She took Katie and I took the box of classroom supplies that my wife bought. Katie and Helen will be in the same class. We learned that Eleri and Katya will be in the other class. Katie will have the Chinese teacher as her home room teacher.
They gave us a badge to wear (see photo to the right). After dropping the kids off at class the parents all assembled in the library to chat. I then left for work.
I thought what I had was a cold, but it appears to be more like allergies. I went to bed when I got home from work and woke up around 8pm. It could have been because I heard Katie crying that daddy was not available to put her to bed.
My wife told me that Katie had a real good day at school. Afterwards they had a play date with Helen, Natasha, and Katya. I guess that Natasha and Katya were both very tired but the little energizer bunny that is Katie kept on going and going.
