Day #2079 (Sun., Sept. 13, 2015) – Katie Draws A Seal
Katie drew a picture of a seal this morning (see photo to the right). She used her stuffed seal “Sealy” as a model. She was very excited about it and came to get my approval. “It looks like a real seal, right?” she asked. It does. She then started to tell me how she wanted to be on television like the girl we saw drawing on a YouTube channel yesterday.
I did manage to get a couple of things done around the house today. I fixed the door on the cabinet where we have Katie’s juice boxes. The screw came loose and the door fell off the hinge. A simple fix once you figured out what was happening. I also build a little shelf so that my wife could put some of her flower pots in the kitchen area behind the sink. Not the prettiest of shelves, but it works none the less…
I drove to WalGreens to get a flu shot this afternoon. I then went to Trader Joe’s to pick up some applesauce pouches. Katie wanted me to pick up some peanuts as well.
Katie was in a rather fussy mood this evening. She wanted my wife to call up Genevieve so that she could come and unlock the house for her and show her their fishes. When she didn’t get her way she ended up in her bedroom crying…
