Day #2102 (Tue., Oct. 6, 2015) – 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L – gold/tan van

Katie still had problems counting to 50 on the drive to Glenwood this morning. This time thought I could hear her working through the 1 to 10 numbers of she forgot what number came after 37 for example. I told her that this was “working your way through the problem” and she wanted some clarification as to what this meant. I told her that this problem solving skill would do wonders for her as she grows older.

2015-10-06 - Honda Odyssey VanWe decided to purchase the 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L – gold/tan van that the guy left at Lloyd’s for a check up yesterday (see photo to the right). It comes to $5345 and is not a bad deal for that price. I met him at my credit union and I got the title and he got a cashier’s check.

One of the main reasons we decided to purchase a new van was that with both a baby seat and Katie’s booster seat in the back of my wife’s car, there is not much leg room for her. It’s quite cramped and not enjoyable to drive at all. It is also getting older and will need to be replaced at some point anyway. With a Honda Odyssey van we will have plenty of room for our two kids and any other kids who might want to come along…

Little Bobby is getting his second tooth. More teething issues…
