Day #2143 (Mon., Nov. 16, 2015) – The Coxsackie Virus

On the ride to school this morning Katie and I laughed at the name “Tenjin Ludicrous Fancipants”. She said she was going to mention this name to some of her friends.

My wife sent me an email this morning regarding the award ceremony at Katie’s school on Wednesday at noon. The assembly is at 11:30am and lunch will be at 12:05pm with the option of us to eat with the kids. I’ll stay and have lunch with her and my wife…I guess it will be a Thanksgiving Dinner. It will be a good chance to talk about her achievement.

2015-11-16 - Batman In The CribBatman found a new place to crawl up for a nap…in little Bobby’s bed (see photo to the left).

We got a letter from Mrs. Randby today: “A student in your child’s classroom has been diagnosed with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. This disease is caused by the Coxsackie virus and is spread by unwashed hands and also through droplets of fluid sprayed when someone sneezes or coughs. Please keep your child home from school if they have any signs of this infection. Call your doctor for any concerns or for additional information.

Little Bobby is getting very chatty these days. He is loud as well. He will often blurt out “Dah dah dah”… Which of course means daddy… 🙂

My wife and Katie finished up the poster board of her photos that they started on the weekend.
