Day #164 (Wed., June 16, 2010) – What A Great Kid

I was up in the middle of the night, then went back to bed, then overslept a bit. When I woke up it was 7am and my wife was planning on taking little Katie out for a walk with my mother-in-law. Like my wife said, only little Katie is well rested.

While I was at work my wife sent me an email about a baby stroller that she is on sale. I told her to go ahead and get it if she wants it. This stroller folds up so that we can take it in the trunk of the car. It will come in handy if we have to take little Katie on a stroll while we are away from home. We have been lugging the car seat with little Katie in it…but that won’t work once she gets a bit bitter.

When I got home little Katie was already asleep. I looked in on her and she was sleeping soundly on her side.

The photo to the left shows some blocks that little Katie plays with. They are flexible and soft…so they are a bit like a teether.

Little Katie was so cute this evening. She was hugging the doll that my mother-in-law brought her…just before she started to rip it’s arms apart and stick it into her mouth.

I just finished changing little Katie. My wife was telling me that my mother-in-law was telling my father-in-law what a great kid little Katie is. She doesn’t cry much and is a happy child.

My wife is going through her evening ritual of taking little Katie to say goodnight to all the stuffed animals in the nursery.

WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

1) Little Katie sure loves that little baby doll my mother-in-law brought her.
