Day #2308 (Fri., Apr. 29, 2016) – Oscar Finds A Copperhead
During the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie told me that it was Herron and Christopher who called her a slowpoke…not Helen. Herron, the boy who Katie said might not get to graduate this year, called you a slowpoke? I mentioned this to Katie and let it sink in…she is perhaps slow but she does better quality work. A lesson to learn.
Katie also told me that Eleri is a bit mean to her. She says that she doesn’t like Katie’s clothes and mean things like that. I told her that this is probably a good lesson for her to learn as there are always going to be people who don’t like you or say mean things to you, but to let me know if it bothers you too much and we’ll take it to the next level. I’ve personally had enough of this Eleri messing with my kid.
Oscar came over today to clean up all the weeds in our yard. He found a baby copperhead hiding…which we are told are the really dangerous ones. His friend came by to see my wife’s car and wants to buy it from us. We are scheduled to meet at the bank on Monday morning.
Katie was bouncing around like mad this evening. Guess her toe doesn’t bother her that much.
Sometimes Bobby gets so tired in the evening he can’t even hold his head up (see photo to the left).
