Day #2371 (Fri., July 1, 2016) – Happy Canada Day!
Happy Canada Day Everyone!
Bobby sure loves the “I Am A Fine Musician” video with Dick Van Dyke (see photo to the right).
My wife and the kids stayed pretty close to home today. This is the final day of her week long vacation from work where she got to play with and entertain the kids.
My wife got a new bureau last night and spent the day assembling it. I need to put some angle brackets on it to secure it to the wall. I also have a lot of other “odds and ends” that need to be taken care of this weekend. Including
- Securing the SimpliSafe keychains to the wall.
- Finishing staining the mailbox sign.
- Securing Katie’s toy bin to the wall.
- Securing my wife’s new bureau to the wall.
- I’m sure that there are a ton of other items…
Katie expressed an interest in going to see a 4th of July parade this weekend. There is a small parade in Carrboro tomorrow. Maybe I’ll just drive the car, drop them off, and come and get them when the parade is done. This will certainly help out with the parking issue.
Bobby loves to drink ice water from a mug from time-to-time. This evening one of the ice cubes accidentally got next to his skin and he was getting colder and colder and crying and crying until we found out what the problem was.
