Day #2419 (Thu., Aug 18, 2016) – Shortcake & Dreamer
Katie gets to ride horses today at Spence’s Farm. She told me that she wanted to ride Dreamer today as she is a very gentle horse and she can ride her all by herself. I guess that if she rides Shortcake she still needs to have assistance from others.
I always forget the name of the little pony that Katie likes. His name is “Little Dan”.
After work Katie told us that she went on a trail ride.
We are thinking more and more of getting Bobby a ride-on tractor for Christmas this year. The only question is…which model and whether it should be electric or not. I sure loved the one I had when I was a child (see photo to the left). Mine was orange with a blue steering wheel, etc. I loved it and even ate and watched television on it.
Supply run tonight. To the pet store to get dry cat food for Batman and Robin. Then to Whole Foods to get milk. I picked up a tiramisu for my wife along with some of Hilda’s Potato Salad.
I got on the floor to play with Bobby this evening. He has started to come up to me for a cuddle now and then. He really likes the song “Edelweiss” from the stage production of the Sound Of Music. He bounces up and down to the music.
