Day #2437 (Mon., Sept. 5, 2016) – Fearrington Village Picnic
My wife took Katie and Bobby to park this morning. I stayed home to update this blog.
When they got back Katie and I recorded “Episode #3” of “Katie’s Candy Review Show”. There was a bit of a technical glitch so what started off as one video became two.
While Bobby Katie and I played “Frozen Monopoly”. She wanted to change the rules so we started off with no money and used five dice instead of one.
When Bobby got up from his nap we took the kids to Fearrington Village to see the goats and cows (see photo to the right). This was Bobby’s first trip (Katie has been there many times). We had a picnic lunch in the field near the stone sheep. Katie brought a “Cow Meal” as she called it (food for the cows).
Bobby has learned to climb on Katie’s bed without any help now.
I made Katie an “Elvis” banana/almond butter sandwich this evening. She didn’t like it so I made her a grilled cheese. She liked the one with “cheesey in a blanket” but not the one with a cheddar slice. My wife ended up making her another grilled cheese with shreaded cheese.
