In the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie told me that she had to write up a couple of Chinese books before “Rug Time” this morning. I guess that “Rug Time” is where they all sit on the rug and the teacher tells them what they will be doing for the day. “Writing up Chinese Books” is where you translate a Chinese book into English. Katie said that this is hard and she doesn’t like it much.
A neighbor was throwing out a Radio Flyer wagon and since nobody wanted it my wife picked it up (see photo to the right). She is going to give it to Arnesa.
There was a meeting at Katie’s school to meet the teachers. My knee was acting up so my wife took Katie and picked up Helen on the way. I stayed home and tended to Bobby. It was a rather short meeting and they were home by 7pm. I fed Bobby some cheese, which he loved. I thought he might like an almond butter sandwich but he ended up standing on it somehow. He stared to play with my cell phone and managed to get his “almond butter covered” fingers on my knobs so know they have that “sticky” button feel where they don’t pop in and out cleanly.
