Day #2814 (Tue., Sep. 19, 2017) – Painted Shirt

I dropped Katie off at school this morning. She was complaining that her leg was hurting and that she might get out of physical education class as well. She told me that usually kids just sit on the steps when this happens.

2017-09-19 - Painted ShirtKatie didn’t want the school lunch today so my wife made her a lunch. The main item was a kebab of chicken and cucumber.

I went to get gas at a local service station this afternoon and there was wet paint on the posts. I rubbed up against it and messed up my shirt (see photo to the right). The manager gave me $20 to get a new shirt. I told her that she had better put some wet paint signs out or everyone will have messed up shirts. I questioned why they did this painting during the day when customers would be around? Why not do it at night? It would dry by the time day rolled around.

Bobby was very fussy this evening so, at my wife’s suggestion, I gave him one item out of the toy toolkit I picked up at Walmart last night. It was the power drill and he loved it. He has been making power drills out of anything that looks like it as of late, so now he has one to call his own. Like the police car, once he got it into his hands it was hard to pry free.

I met with HR to start my medical leave process today. This evening my wife and I called the Hartford to get a policy number.
