Day #3023 (Mon., Apr. 16, 2018) – Bobby Puts Gas In Van
On the drive to Glenwood this morning, Helen relayed to Katie the story of the Titanic. She was pretty accurate for the most part.
Bobby got a chance to put gas in the van today. This was just the start… I’m sure that he will want to put gas in the van or car from now on.
I went to Sam’s Club today to get some Zyrtec. They have recently installed some self-checkout counters and I was surprised to see that people were all navigating towards them and away from the checkouts in which there was a “sales attendant”. I think people are realizing that these self-checkouts are efficient and fast and provide a “no hassle” experience. I wonder if the sales attendants are waking up and “smelling the coffee” of the robotic revolution that is right upon them? Time to retool and retrain because your jobs are going bye-bye…
