When I got up this morning I found parts of the “Cash Flow” game on the floor. I have been telling Katie that this is not like her other games and that she has to make sure the pieces are put in the box and the box is up on the shelf away from Bobby’s touch. This will be a teachable moment for her…
I made a couple of Trader Joe’s pizzas for the kids at noon today. Gradually feeling like I can stand longer and am able to cook more.
This evening we went for a long walk in the neighborhood, to the bamboo trees and back. We thought that the mention of getting a bamboo stick for Bobby would calm him down, but he insisted on my wife carrying him home…which she did not. Not even bringing along a flashlight (see photo to the right), which he insisted, was helpful.
It is always a debate on whether to walk in the neighborhood or go to the mall. The neighborhood is more convenient as we don’t drive anywhere, but if it is humid outside and especially if Bobby is fussy, the mall is a much more pleasant alternative. The mall also has the added attraction of Chick-Fil-A and Maple Dairy Farm ice cream for the kids.
