Day #3132 (Fri., Aug. 3, 2018) – Katie Has Swimmer’s Ear

2018-08-03 - Bobby Paints His TruckBobby painted one of his trucks today (see photo to the right).

I organized my bedroom this afternoon. I turned the bed and desk 90 degrees so that they now face towards the television. This will be more condusive to working at my desk. I have been using the bed desk, but with both my knees operational now it’s time to move out of the bed to work more hours.

My wife took Katie to the doctors this afternoon. She has “swimmers ear”, an ear infection.

I drove over to Arnesa’s house to pick Bobby up this afternoon. He opened the door and was surprised to see me. Justin, who used to live next door to Arnesa, was there reading a book to baby Ayra. Bobby insisted on putting his own socks and shoes on and we walked to the van in the pouring rain. I drove Bobby past the place where Dzenen works and pointed it out to him. As we were passing the Carrboro Art School he yelled out that this is where Katie goes to school. He, like Katie, has a great sense of direction and visual awareness.

My wife had a headache and went to bed early this evening. I tended to the kids. We watched a bit of Vat19, about Unicorn farts of all things (i.e.: Cotton Candy). Both kids got quite a kick out of that. The two little horses running up and down the hallway eventually woke my wife up.
