Day #3154 (Sat., Aug. 25, 2018) – “Good Sophie’s” Birthday Party
Bobby is the exact age today that Katie was when my mother passed away.
Katie is off to “Good Sophie’s” birthday party this afternoon. It’s at a trampoline park. She came back with a tiny little harmonica around a necklace. Bobby managed to destroy that necklace as well.
I think we will have to enroll Bobby in soccer or karate or something to wear off all this restless energy.
This evening I gave the kids one of the $1 sticker books that I picked up at Michael’s a couple of weeks ago. It entertained them for a bit. I drew a backdrop of a racetrack and the kids took turns putting stickers onto it (see photo to the right).
Bobby is becoming more and more like a border collie. You need to keep him entertained and engaged, or he will destroy the house. He had a wind-up frogman yesterday that he held the legs while it unwound and ended up stripping one of the gears. Today I gave the kids some finger rockets, little rockets with an elastic band that you shoot into the air. He ripped the wings off that one, so it won’t fly properly, then he proceeded to do the same thing for the one I gave Katie.
