Day #3287 (Sat., Jan. 5, 2019) – Katie’s Birthday Sleep Over
With the kids coming over for Katie’s birthday sleepover this evening most of the morning was spent cleaning up. I went to Harris-Teeter to get a couple of cheese pizzas and some cupcakes. I then went to Trader Joe’s for the rest of the supplies. I saw Bodie’s mom while I was there.
The kid’s loved the pizza but not Arnesa’s cake (see photo to the right). I think they are into the store bought Food Lion “white” cakes. Bobby blew out Katie’s candles as soon as we light them. When all the people in the room reacted he started to cry. He had no idea that there was a problem until he got the reaction.
One of the highlights of the day was making tie-die shirts. The kids will get to take them home with them.
I spent over 1-hour making popcorn for the kids this evening while they watched a movie on television.
Zoe and Natasha spent the night in Katie’s room. Dylan and Helen and another girl went home.
Bobby wanted to sleep with the girls so badly. We told them to just be quiet and he will get bored and leave. 100% correct.
