Bobby got thirsty in the middle of the night so he got up, went to the fridge and got a glass of water, and went back to bed. Such an independent soul…
Katie helped afix a “peace” tattoo to Bobby’s hand yesterday (see photo to the right).
I dropped Bobby off at Arnesa’s this morning as I had a doctor’s appointment. The appointment ran late, so it was about 1 pm before I could get back to pick him up. Arnesa said that it was no problem. Claudia, Ayra, and him were playing nicely with some Play Doh. I guess he was really into the jumbo raisins that Arnesa bought at Trader Joe’s.
When it came time to leave Bobby started to get fussy, but Arnesa talked to him and told him that Ayra was going to bed and everyone needed to go to their homes now. He seemed to calm down after that and it was easier to get him into the car. He has had the tendency of late to stomp his feet and say “I don’t want to go home” and then start to cry.
No piano class this evening. Katie has been doing LEAP program testing yesterday and today to see if she will be admitted to an advanced program.
Katie is writing a story. My wife read some of it to me this evening and it was fantastic! Katie has expressed an interest in putting it into a blog, but my wife and I think it’s better for her to write on paper for the time being. There will be time for more electronic “this and that” in her future.
