Day #3697 (Wed., Feb. 19, 2020) – GROW Alligator
My wife is home sick today. Since she is not feeling well I took Katie to school this morning. Katie told me that Dylan and Murren are helping her plan the wedding of Maple and Zeke (the neighbor dog).
I went to the Dollar Store in Hillsborough to get some LEGO “type” blocks for Bobby’s party this afternoon. I was hoping to get some wheels (no luck), but I did get window and doors and flower scenery blocks. I also picked up a “Grow” alligator (see photo to the right). It is supposed to grow 6x, so we might need to keep it in the bathtub.
I went to Trader Joe’s this evening. There is a forecast of snow tomorrow, so I picked up supplies for a long weekend in case we get snowed in. I saw “Miss Laura”, Katie’s assistant teacher, while I was there.
I stopped off at Harris-Teeter afterwards to get some frozen Strawberry Shortcake treats as the kids love those when I pick them up at the garage.
Bobby found the filter drawer on the washer this evening. We have been using that washer for eight years and never knew it was there.
